The Polish forward is drawing a number of admirers in Major League Soccer
The Philadelphia Union and Orlando City are both chasing Polish striker Lukasz Gikiewicz, sources close to ASN have been informed.
Gikiewicz, 27, recently enjoyed a spell with Bulgarian side Levski Sofia and counts Omonia and AEL Limassol amongst his former employers.
A talented striker who is imposing in the air, he is now understood to be subject to significant interest from two clubs in Major League Soccer – Orlando City and the Philadelphia Union.
Reports on Friday in the U.S. cited the Philadelphia Union as leading the chase for the Polish forward, but sources close to ASN have been notified of interest from the Floridian expansion side.
Orlando City have been seeking attacking reinforcements following a season ending injury to Kevin Molino, while the Union are eager to bolster their attacking options in a bid to rectify their poor goal differential.
