Matthew Tait wants to draw inspiration from Leicester City as Tigers push for play-offs
Leicester Tigers man Matthew Tait has suggested that the Aviva Premiership outfit draw inspiration from their cross-city neighbors, Leicester City.
With Claudio Ranieri’s men producing without question the most incredible title-surge in the history of world sport, Tait has suggested that the Tigers – who are still in contention for the play-offs – try to emulate them;
“For us it’s been great to see how they cope with pressure,” said Tigers centre Tait. “Claudio Ranieri speaks very well about taking it game by game and the players seem to respond to that.
“It would be nice if we can show that same composure come Sunday.”
“It’s great for the city,” Tait said. “It’s the sporting capital of the UK at the minute.
“Both clubs are bouncing off each other with their success.”
It certainly has been something of an incredible year for the city, who over the past decade have had very, very little to cheer about.
