World number six Ana Ivanovic is rumoured to be working alongside former LTA chief Nigel Sears once again, following three months without a coach
Ana Ivanovic is believed to have reunited with former coach Nigel Sears according to former British number one Anne Keothavong.
Ivanovic, 27, has been without a coach since parting company with Dejan Petrovic in May, her third coaching change in as many years.
The world number six said at the time that she was hoping to find someone who could remain with her until the end of her career and she may now have found that person after reports emerged that the 2008 French Open champion has reunited with 58-year-old Sears.
The father of Andy Murray’s wife Kim, Sears quit his role as head coach of women’s tennis at the Lawn Tennis Association in June 2011 to work with the former world number one, but the union lasted just two years following a lacklustre tenure that garnered just one title in Bali.
Sears, a former Davis Cup captain, was finally given the push in July 2013 after Ivanovic crashed out of Wimbledon at the second round stage to 19-year-old rising star Eugenie Bouchard.
However, all that looks to be water under the bridge if the comment by Keothavong is to be believed.
Under the guidance of Sears, Keothavong became the first British woman in 16 years to break the world’s top 50 when she hit 48th spot in February 2009.
In a tweet posted on Tuesday, the 31-year-old claimed Sears and Ivanovic had attempted to revive their previously uninspiring partnership.
For all the Ana Ivanovic fans out there, she's back working with Nigel Sears.

Ivanovic has not played since going down 6-3, 6-4 to American qualifier, Bethanie Mattek-Sands in the second round of Wimbledon.
Next up for the Serbian is the Rogers Cup in Toronto, Canada which begins on 10 August.
