UFC fighter Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone is reportedly the recipient of a major offer from Bellator MMA, who hope to persuade the veteran to jump ship.

Cerrone’s welterweight victory over Rick Story at UFC 202 was the last fight on his UFC contract, and according to some reports Bellator had offered the 33-year-old $350,000 a fight to join their promotion.

However, the American promotion has so far insisted that there is no truth to the rumours suggesting that they have made an offer to Cerrone.

The popular fighter has mentioned that he would like to sign a new contract with the UFC while also calling out lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez.
